Life is short. That phrase was exemplified today. It feels unreal. Tell people how much you love and care about them, you never know when things could change forever.

Things seem to be starting to turn around. I don’t want to speak too soon yet can’t help but feel how just good things have been the last few days. Nothing more or less just good.

Years cannot erase the harshest of memories, not with a museum of wreckage so close at hand. Such is the stuff of trauma and loss. No recovery is full. At some point though, a wound will become a scar and then mysteriously that scar will become another tack on a map reminding you of where you’ve been. I think I’ve said that before. I guess some things are worth saying again.
